Students who have a love for mechanics just like Jake. We often see many scholarships for academia, we wanted this scholarship to be for mechanics in honor of Jake.
This scholarship is MADE IN CANADA for Canadians and students with a permanent resident card.
100% of donations made to the Jake Weitz Memorial Scholarship go towards providing a scholarship to High School students for post-secondary education.
Everyone working on the Board and for this Scholarship is volunteer, no one is paid. 100% of monies raised goes to the Scholarship.
The Jake Weitz Memorial Scholarship accepts good quality used tools for in-kind donation receipts. Please note these tool need to be in very good condition and preferable full sets of tools (ie: complete wrench, socket sets etc) . If you have tools to donate, please send a photo of the tools to info@jakeweitz.ca and we will reach out to you.
